Drift

Drift is a June son and my main dog. Dark liver roan with a solid liver head, 64 pounds in hunting shape. He scored 112 in Natural Ability at 11 months, finished his AKC Master Hunter at three, and ran a Prize I Utility Test with 201 points at four. That score qualified him for the NAVHDA Invitational, which I plan to run with him in 2027. He hunts at 150 to 250 yards in open grass and pulls in on his own in cattails and tree rows. He is staunch on point, steady to wing and shot, and he will trail a crippled rooster farther than I would have bet on. He breaks ice for ducks without being asked twice. In the house he is a quiet dog who wants a hand on his head. His pups get his nose and his cooperation, and they tend to point early.
